Welcome from Asst Editor Chad Stephens

Welcome to the World Affairs Program Journal, the place created by students  giving voice to those who will make a difference on the global stage. My name is Chad Stephens, I am a second year Political Science and History major, and I founded this journal to host the genuine interests of those with a penchant for global issues.  I have been a member of the World Affairs Program for one year, and am a member of the Involvement Leadership Committee. My vision for this journal is a thriving community of writers, working to hone their skills and expand their knowledge of unknown or underrepresented global issues. Along this journey I hope to learn a lot from the unique voices that will be writing for the journal from perspectives that I could have never envisioned. Feel free to come to me with questions, and remember that there is no barrier to entry for knowledge. I hope we swap places, and that I'll be reading your words soon instead.
